THE MAJOR THIRDS
This u3a South East Regional Big Band meets fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons to rehearse and perform big band repertoire from the 1920s to the present day.
Open to players of Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Jazz Guitar, Keyboard, Bass and Drums/Percussion (places are subject to availability in each section) Jazz Singers are also welcome.

The group aims to cater for a range of jazz tastes, with videos of specific musicians, discussions and music from members' personal collections.

Discoveries and surprises in Classical Music.

RECORDER CONSORT
This group plays the whole range of recorders and enjoys a wide variety of music from early music to folk songs, Mozart to Jazz. Anyone with experiende of recorder playing is welcome.

Singing songs mainly from from the 1930s to the 1960s.

WAGNER'S RING CYCLE
The group explores how Wagner tells the story through music. An ability to read music would be helpful but not essential.
