!STOP PRESS!
Monthly Meeting on Thursday 20th January at 2.30
Change of Venue and Programme
Sadly the Rock Choir will not be able to perform for us on 20th January but Dr Nikki Gammans of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust has stepped in at very short notice to give us a talk on Gardening for Pollinators, a timely topic with spring just round the corner and the importance of wildlife so much in the news.
As the Camden Centre is being used as a vaccination centre in January, our meeting will be in the Tunbridge Wells Christian Fellowship hall, where we held the Christmas Quiz and Carols. This is the large hall on the first floor above the Tesco Express in Grosvenor Road (nearly opposite the main Post Office). The entrance is in the side road beside Tesco. The address is: TWCF, Hanover Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1EY and there is parking in Meadow Road Car Park.
This will be a hybrid meeting, so if you would prefer to attend on Zoom and are not already members of the Zoom Talks Group please contact Eryll who will send you a Zoom invitation.

TWu3a is an excellent place to meet new people and make friends.
We have around 960 members. Anyone may join. We get together to learn from each other and having fun is important to us. No qualifications are required or given and learning is defined in its broadest sense. There is no age limit and most members are no longer in full-time employment.
All our activities are run by members on a voluntary basis. We arrange Talks and Coffee Mornings where we socialize. Our Outings and Short Breaks are always very popular, as are the many Events which we organize. Above all, we have about 100 small Groups where members pursue a common interest or learn from others who are willing to share their expertise. In addition, we share items of interest in the TWu3a Members' Facebook page while non-members can read more about us on the TWu3a Facebook page.
TWu3a is part of the UK-wide u3a movement which you can find out about here.
You will find further information about joining TWu3a here. If you would prefer to sample us first, come to one of our Coffee Mornings which are held at Trinity Arts Centre on the last Friday of every month from 10.30 to 12.00.
Although we are beginning to meet face-to-face, we shall continue to hold some activities on Zoom or as hybrid meetings. If you are not yet a Zoom user but would like to try it, please email the Chairman, who will be happy to help you get started.
Everyone is welcome, so do join us. We look forward to seeing you soon.
